About Me

I was born on the 23rd March 2004, to a Scottish mother and a Dutch father. From an early age, I grew up immersed in two distinct, yet wonderfully compatible cultures. My father brought Dutch pragmatism, with a love for straightforward solutions and a warm appreciation for gezelligheid - a sense of cosiness and togetherness. Whilst my mother, with her Scottish roots, instilled in me a love for tradition, storytelling, and a fiercely resilient spirit. 

Home was and always will be a unique blend of languages, foods and customs, where one day might mean celebrating Sinterklaas, and the next would be Burns Night with haggis and poetry. These two heritages, while different, created a beautiful balance. The Dutch focus on community and the Scottish emphasis on loyalty provided me with a well-rounded perspective on life. My background is a constant reminder that I carry the legacy of two proud cultures, giving me a unique foundation on which to build my own story.
